I knew it was a good chance to head to the Cornhusker State when I found out my sister was going to be living in for a few months. My grandma was created here, and my great-grandmother is hidden here, therefore Nebraska is without question an interest of discussion during my household.
Through the tales we’d heard, I happened to be anticipating one thing resembling the Dust Bowl. We was yes there is dirt all over, lots of cornfields and never much else.
But, alternatively, I became greeted with breathtaking greenery, historic web web web sites and…trendy restaurants?! That’s right—I found that there are plenty places to consume in Omaha. And all sorts of of these had one thing unique to provide.
When I found its way to town, a pizzeria with a red stone outside (and inside) that gives coal-fired pizzas. With historic black-and-white pictures from the walls, and hanging lights, the vibe ended up being contemporary with a vintage twist.
The pizzas, needless to say, would be the specialties. The margherita, the eatery also offers a meatball pie, a Thai pie and the shrimp scampi pizza, complete with thyme cram and lemon garlic shrimp although we opted for a standard favorite.
Nevertheless the menu that is local filled up with other fashionable goodies to fill your bellies too. [Read more...]
