NSW Opposition Leader John Brogden has resigned as frontrunner associated with the Liberal Party after revelations he labelled Bob Carr’s Malaysian-born wife a “mail-order bride” and pinched the base of a feminine journalist at a function month that is last.

Mr Brogden stated he’d remain on as Member for Pittwater.
He offered an apology that is unreserved Helena Carr and previous premiere, Bob Carr, when it comes to “silly laugh which is why I am able to just but apologise and achieve this sincerely”.
He also offered an apology to two reporters afflicted with their behaviour during the July 29 function organised by the Australian Hotels Association.
