Compensation payments to EIT participants will take place over many months

The reimbursement mechanism proposed by the Cabinet of Ministers for the failed pilot EIT is quite complex, and payments will be made over many months.

This was reported in the Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment in response to the algorithm developed by the Ministry of Finance to compensate participants in trial testing.

“Today, the President has set a task to return funds to the participants of the pilot EIT in 2020. According to the current requirements for the return of funds, regional centers for quality assessment of education must collect the original applications of participants, details of bank accounts of recipients, a receipt for payment of these funds by the participant / his parents or legal representatives. That is, the proposed refund mechanism is quite complex, and payments will be made over many months, ”the UTSOKO said.

The Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment also notes that the postponement of payments will lead to a wave of public outrage and allegations of non-fulfillment of obligations by the Government.

The Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment will not be able to return the funds paid for participation in the pilot EIT, as they were spent on the preparation of test assignments, printing test books and organizing testing. At the same time, UTSOKO will ensure that participants receive paper test notebooks, as well as conduct remote trial testing.

This is stated in the comments of the Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment in response to a request.

“Now the test notebooks of the participants are in the points of the test EIT and each test user will be able to get their own test notebook according to a separate procedure, which will be announced in addition,” – said the Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment.

In addition, UTSOKO reported that due to the ban on trial testing in the usual format, online registration will be conducted for all registered participants.

On June 15 at 11:00 participants of the test EIT can go to their information page and download a test notebook on Ukrainian language and literature, as well as a form of answers to the notebook, complete test tasks and submit their answers to the results determination service by June 19, and then receive your test result.

On June 17 at 11:00 registered participants of the test EIT will be able to download on their information pages a test notebook and answer sheet for the subject they chose to take the test EIT and follow the test procedure and then get the test results.
